Local ceasefire in Oleshky enables evacuation of civilians to Ukrainian-controlled territory
A local ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia in the temporarily occupied city of Oleshky in Kherson region enabled the evacuation of civilians to Ukrainian-controlled territory. The humanitarian mission was mediated by US First Lady Melania Trump and included demining evacuation routes. The 75-hour ceasefire began on 27 October and was not violated by either side.
